Melissa was a law clerk with the firm in 2005 and returned to the firm as an Associate in September 2006, practicing exclusively in the area of Family Law. Prior to joining the firm, Melissa spent a year as the Law Clerk for the Honorable Francine I. Axelrad, P.J.A.D., of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.
Melissa was admitted to practice in New Jersey in December 2006. While in law school, she served as Marketing Editor for The Journal of Law and Public Policy. She also volunteered with the Domestic Violence Project, where she assisted victims in preparing for court appearances and obtaining Final Restraining Orders. Melissa also volunteered as a trained-mediator with the Community Dispute Resolution Committee (CDRC), mediating small claims matters for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Camden County.
