Lynn Fontaine Newsome

Lynn Fontaine Newsome, a partner at Donahue, Hagan, Klein & Newsome, P.C., has concentrated exclusively in the area of Family Law since her admission to the Bar in 1981.

Ms. Newsome received her undergraduate degree and law degree from Seton Hall University. She served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, Morris County, during the 1981-1982 court term. Ms. Newsome is a Certified Matrimonial Law attorney.

Ms. Newsome has served on the Board of Trustees of the Morris County Bar Association since 1990 and served as President of the Morris County Bar Association in 1999. She is also a past President of the Morris County Bar Foundation and former Chair of the Morris County Family Law Committee, of which she is still a member. In addition, Ms. Newsome serves on the Morris County and Somerset County Early Settlement Panels.

Ms. Newsome serves as Treasurer of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She also serves on the Supreme Court Family Practice Committee. She is former Chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

She is a Member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association. She is a former Member of the District X Ethics Committee and is a frequent lecturer for New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the National Business Institute, and the Morris County Bar Association. She also served as a Master in the Family Law Inns of Court.
